Hellooooo!!
This week was exciting!! We met with our friends and felt the Holy Ghost with them, some of them are really prepared to make changes in their lives to come closer to God and we are sooo happy for them! We've started calling one of our friends every night to read scriptures with him and it's been one of my highlights of the week. We're just starting from the beginning of The Book of Mormon and helping him understand and apply it to his life. We're hoping it will help him learn how he can use the scriptures and study them!!
This week we also got transfer news... everyone in my apartment is staying! Except I'm becoming an STL.... STL stands for "Sister Training Leader". As an STL you help the sisters in your zone feel comfortable doing the work and work with the Zone leaders/other mission leaders to find better ways to help the people in our areas. It's exciting!! But also different, it'll be fun to try!
General Conference was this week! General Conference is when church leaders speak and share thoughts about topics they feel inspired to talk about. Church leaders including the Prophet!! Can you believe it?? God has a prophet on the earth today to guide us!! its almost too good to be true, but the best part is its actually true!! I've only watched like 4 speakers cause i was asleep for most of it. don't blame me, blame the time zone what excuse do you have for being asleep? but so far I love it! Feel free to email me and spoil your favorite parts! I'm so grateful for our prophet. I'm grateful God gives us prophets to guide us and help us know His will. Thanks Prez Nels for being the best example of "letting God prevail"
