Week 2 in Hollywood

 Heyyyy wassup

First of all I would like to formally apologize for the mess my last email was. The subject line and pictures were wacky. My b, my b

This week was goooood. Idk where to start. We had a lesson on Tuesday with a guy who's interested in the church but doesn't have much experience with God/Christ/Prayer. We taught him about how God is our loving Heavenly Father and prayer/how to do it, and even invited him to say the prayer at the end of the lesson! It was AMAZING. After the prayer he was like "I love prayer! Wow. I love this moment!". It was an awesome experience.

ALSO one of our friends is going to be baptized! His name is Robert, and he has such strong faith and a desire to be baptized. We're going to be helping him reach that goal over the next couple weeks! Super excited for him!!!

We also had a mandarin event yesterday! It was specifically for the Chinese population of LA at the Visitor Center (VC). There was live music and tours of the VC in mandarin. I couldn't contribute much cuz everyone was speaking mandarin, but I helped give the tour of a man who speaks canto so I got to bear my testimony in Cantonese! I also tried a Mooncake for the first time and squid Jerky (one of my comp's family mailed a bunch of treats). I liked mooncakes, buuuut ima be staying away from squid Jerky lol.

We also got dumplings for p day!!!! They were DELICIOUS. I've been eating quite a bit of Asain food lately actually. We had some sushi with members and I tried octopus for the first time!

I also tried rose flavored ice cream on p day. Kinda tastes like Christmas.

Adjusting to missionary life takes time, but I'm definitely adjusting! I honestly have so much fun with my comps and the other sisters. Much love to you all!!!!!

OH also I did cut bangs I honestly LOVE them ima be keeping them for a while.
