Funny story hehe, my comps and I had happy hour with a member and recent convert
Don't worry, that's mostly clickbait. Here's the story: we were at a members house for dinner and she offered some hibiscus drink to try, and I was like sweet I'd love to try some. My first sip was great, I really loved it actually. But as we kept eating and I kept drinking I started to feel like the drink tasted a little like wine lol (I've had some accidentally at a New Year's Eve party one time so I have am idea of the taste, please don't come for me lol). Yeaaaaah after that I stopped drinking. I don't know if it was actually, if anything it was probably just in the fridge for too long that it fermented a bit but it was kinda silly lol.
Another silly moment:
We've been street contacting people in Spanish a little bit this past week. They're definitely a struggle, but the comps and I have been able to get by for the most part. One man even gave us some fruit! It was super nice. Buuuuuut back to the silly moment, a women asked (in spanish) how long we've been in LA and I said "estoy aqui por uno mesa". Basically I said (using bad grammar) I've been here for "1 table" heheh, the women had a good chuckle. I have since learned month is "mes".
We also started teaching 2 new people this week! I love teaching. It's especially amazing to tell them about God's plan, and they get so excited and say things like, "God has a plan, for me?" Like yes!! He does!!! Lemme tell you all about it!!
I also went to a cool lookout with my district today for p day, we got a great view of the ocean and saw a seal. And then I had nachos for breakfast.
One final bit of news, I got flight plans for Hong Kong! I'll be leaving November 6th! Woohoo!!! I've been loving LA, but I'm super excited to be going to Hong Kong.
