This week was good! Here's a couple highlights:
Welllllll this week took a pretty big turn on Wednesday. I got ET'd (emergency transfered). I'm not with sister Zang/Miner anymore lol. We were at the VC and the APs gave us a call, Said they had news for me. At first I was like they're gonna tell me I'm going to Hong Kong which is old news but ig ima hear it again, but no. They told me I'd be sister Westover and sister Rothwell companion, serving in Culver City. Sister Rothwell left for England the next day so now it's just sister Westover and I. Sister Westover is so kind and a great missionary, I'm really loving it here. I mean I'm still in the same apartment complex as before but like here as in this companionship. She's a health QUEEN so sometimes it's funny cuz I'm not. Like she'll be eating pretzels and PB and be like "oh my gosh I'm really letting loose rn" as I'm eating my third oreo lol. It's all fun tho! It was sad to leave the others though, especially sister miner. I get to see them every now and then though cuz were all living in patrons on temple grounds. Buuuuuut the transfer ended so we got transfer news and sister Westover and I are staying here and getting a new companion! The two of them will be STLs. Sister Westover was an STL most of her mish but they usually take you out the last few transfers, and she was buuuuut now there putting her back in for her last transfer to train sister Shumway(our new comp) who has never been an stl before. Sister Zang and sister miner are staying together next transfer and doing mandarin work in ucla! Aaaaanyway that's the transfer news.
we had a car contact (a contact is where you get to know someone, get around to your purpose as missionaries In the most natural way possible, tell them the restoration in 2 sentences and ask if they wanna learn more). Buuuut anyway this car contact was in the middle of the crosswalk we were tryna walk through and he was like "sorry" with his window down, but then we just started talking and we're about to give him a pass along card but he drove away! But then we saw he was stopped at a red light about a block down the road so we RAN like the daylights and sister miner gave him the card. It was silly, and exhilarating!
I also got my last Philly cheesesteak this week before leaving the US and it was yummyyyy. We got it from a place called fat sals. But I accidentally threw the leftovers of it I was gonna save for later away with my trash, but I didn't realize until a Lil later, and sister miner asked if I wanted to get it from the trash and ngl I seriously considered it, but in the end i didn't lol. Sister Zang was really grossed out hehe, she's really grossed out by any germs at all so that happens a lot to her lol.
I'm trying to work on overcoming fear! I get nervous for a lot of things and it's literally a commandment to "fear not" so thats what I've been tryna really do as of late. That reminds me, Elder Rasband at Gen conf had his 7 things of the soul and invited us to come up with 3 more and I did so I wanted to share with you: 1) have courage 2) Focus on what truly matters 3) love change
All of those are a work in progress lol.
Overall things are going pretty well and I'm hype for the next week!

5) Our shower this week, it wouldn't drain and while I was doing my hair it burped and a bunch of black came out of the drain. Thankfully it did get fixed.
