This morning in personal Study I was contemplating how I'm going to have to street contact in Canto, and how I really don't have the language skills to do that. But I know faith brings miracles so I decided I wanted to show faith by trying to talk to people and use canto. So today I've been saying hi and trying to start conversations, put fear on the alter of sacrifice.
While we were on the MTR, I was drafting an email and I noticed a man across from me and thought "I can talk to him" so I put the phone down and (the whole time using canto) was like how are you? He was like wow your canto is so good I'm like thanks I'm learning. I asked where he was going, he said home, and I tried to ask if he was gonna see his family and he didn't understand, but thankfully sister Chan was there and helped me know what to say. After that the convo ended and we just rode, because I didn't really know what else to say In canto. After we got off, the man was running after Chan JM and I and when he caught up the two of them started talking in Canto (I couldn't really follow along), but he ended up giving her his phone number. Afterward Chan JM said he had said there was something special about us and that he wanted to know more about who we were and our message. I started crying. It was just such an amazing experience that I know came straight from heaven, and it was only possible because I decided to act in faith.
God uses the weak and the simple, but through Him anything is possible if we just have faith. He will make up the difference, He won't let our weaknesses slow down His work. Faith truly brings miracles. Keep acting in faith and trusting God, he WILL provide for what you lack. It was so amazing to see that in action today.
