Hello!!!!
This week was great! I'm loving being Chan JM companion more and more each day. We set tons of goals together and work hard everyday.
This week we made gingerbread cookies with the relief society and got to know a ton of people from the ward! They're all super kind, and super patient with my slow Cantonese. Some conversations I'm like "WOW i know so much" and others I'm like "what in the literal heck is happening". But Chan JM helps a lot!
We traveled quite a bit this week, but we made the most of our time and really tried to talk to everyone. We gave out a ton of prayer cards and invited lots of people to our free English Conversation group.
This P day was a typhoon!!! Tbh not as crazy as I thought, but a lot of steady rain. We also got to see some amazing views at Victoria's Harbor despite the bad weather!
I've been loving giving my everything to this work and to God! It's great to be working with the missionaries here, and I love thinking of all my other missionary friends around the world! You all motivate me!!!
