Heyyyyyy
Another great week in Hong Kong! This week we spent most of our time in the apartment because #COVID. We were still able to do a lot tho and have a lot of lessons! Yesterday before joining online Sacrament Meeting I was like "dang I wish this was in English so I could understand and really enjoy the messages" hehe. Especially because sometimes my brain tunes out Canto and wanders because I don't know what they're saying cuz I'm like "oh well" when I should at least be trying to pick out words I don't know lol. But before Sacrament Meeting I said a prayer and was like "pleaaaase help me understand and enjoy the talks", and tbh I understood more than usual! And I was able to hear the tones and sounds correctly of the words I didn't know so I could look them up! It was a miracle and a wonderful Sacrament Meeting! I've also been struggling SO hard to say the word "to kill" in Canto, and it sounds very similar to another ward so if I kiss pronounce it people get confused, and in a lesson yesterday I was sharing something and realized "oh shoot Ima have to say it" (i was talking about how sometimes people kill prophets) and in the lesson, I was able to finally say it right! Another miracle!! It was great to feel God's strength helping, and I feel it so often! This is His work, and He really does help missionaries and everyone who's on His errand. Although we've been inside a lot, I've had a lot of fun with the sisters in my apartment! We've had so many good laughs, yummy dinners, and funny stories. My comp Momo one night while we were all laying in darkness and silence just says so nonchalantly "I want to die" and we all lost it there was also one time she called me fish when she meant to call me a chef, but I can't blame her. One time I tried to say I'm hungry and instead I said I have diarrhea hehe. Language. It happensI hope everyone had an amazing week!!! Thank you to everyone who reaches out!!!! I love getting emails and hearing about your lives!!!! 加油
