This week was pretty rad! We met with a lot of members over whatsapp which was super exciting. It was great to get to know them and share a spiritual thought with them! I'll admit it, the Tai Wo ward is pretty bomb. We were also in our apartment a lot this week because of Covid, and things only seem to be getting worse around here, but we're still going!
Actually two of our friends who had there baptism messed up because of COVID complications have a date again! They'll baptized on Februrary 20th, and there family will be able to join which is FANTASTIC because they're two little boys.
We had Zone Conference this week too! Zone conference is when our whole mission get together and receives training on how to be better missionaries. It was over Zoom, but still very inspiring! I felt like I learned a lot and had a lot of goals coming away from it.
Also language break throughs this week!! I've been understanding so much!!! Usually when my comp talks to her family on P days I have no clue what she's saying, but I was understanding some of their conversations today!!! Literal miracles from God! It's also good because Ima be celebrating Chinese New Year with her family on Saturday so maybe there's a chance of me understanding some of the convo. I've been telling my comp she needs to give me topics her family usually talks about so I can study vocab/prepare haha.
Speaking of Chinese holidays, China also has a holiday around New Years (on January 28th) where everyone deep cleans their houses. The mission celebrated, and our apartment is the cleanest it's ever been now, and Ima be honest it was GRIMY before. It's also super nice cuz we're spending so much time in our apartment now so a fresh clean space is super refreshing. But also I found a GIANT cockroach while cleaning. Thankfully it was dead, but it was still super gross.

1) One of the best parts about shopping in China is the English fails/the most random things on the t shirts. My apartment all got some funny ones for p day today 2/3) posing with a pretty sunset!! 4) elevator pics. Sister J loves taking them 5/6) national clean your house day!!! Thought of my mom the whole time 7) dinner with sister Chan 8/9) a friend gave the other sisters in our apartment duck feet. We tried some and got some silly pics. Not terrible, but also like why would anyone want to eat it
