New year, new transfer, new comp, new me
We did have some Chinese New Year Festivities! I tried lots of Chinese snacks cuz the mission each gave us money to try on traditional Chinese New Years food! All pretty good! Except the durian candy:/ I also got to have dinner at my companions house with her family! They had a lovely spread of food, and the muscles were amazing!! They also live really close to Mainland so I got to see it from afar that night.
This week we also got to record the song "Love is Spoken Here" In Chinese as a apartment for the mish to post on facebook page. We also found out transfer news! I have a new companion!!! Her name is Sister Hinton, and she was in my same MTC group! Now there is no native in our companionship or our apartment, so we're all going to be trying our best with Canto, and God will b making up the difference! We also have Elder's in our ward! I'm excited to work with them! And they seem excited to get to work too! We also found a lizard in our apartment this week. We tried to find it again to get rid of it but no luck. rip.
