Week 22 in Kwai Chung

This week was craaaaazy busy, but that made it fun! We went to the temple on Tuesday, did the traditional Chinese new year deep cleaning of the apartment and made a Chinese new year video on Thursday, did a companionship exchange on Friday, a service project on Sunday, and went to Tuen Mun for a Chinese New Year dinner with some members and other missionaries on Sunday! We also had a loooooot of lessons, some more fun than others. one of our friends was pretty upset that we taught her about the Sabbath Day and kept saying that we didn't understand her situation/why would we ask that of her? It's like, we didn't ask... don't hate the messenger. also don't hate the master either. I've had to learn a lot of patience with friends, especially in this area. There are a lot of people that have problems, that are legit and hard, but also like those problems have solutions. And they aren't willing to solve their problems. BUT this week was fun teaching...

Week 18 in Kwai Chung

This week was full of fun! Sister Chiu temporally became our companion because her companion got COVID! this is her 3rd day on the mission, she still hasn't met her trainer. COVID is kinda going around the mission... The highlight of this week was definitely our friend King Wahs baptism!! The Spirit was so strong, and you could really tell it was affecting him too. I am so excited for him!!! It's been getting pretty cold, we're breaking out the coats and heaters. Something people always say here is "wear more clothes!!". It's kinda like "keep warm". I kinda like the colder weather though! It's not suuuuper cold, so I can handle it. I know God loves all His children and I know He loves you!! Week 21 in Kwai Chung

T he week ️ was pretty good. We invited one of our friends Justin to be baptized! He's a 10 year old with perfect English because he likes watching YouTube! Bit he also knows Cantonese and that's the language the rest of his family speaks so we get to teach him. Our friend King Wah received the Aaronic Priesthood! He also told me that sitting with my legs crossed will give me back pain and that I shouldn't do it. He also took one of the Chinese全盒boxes we made and gave it to an old lady he visited and he said the old lady was so happy. I think I'd have to use my fingers and toes to count the amount of times I was told not to lift a table/chair, or was stopped in the act of doing so. People were afraid I would hurt myself, the motto for the week was "just let the Elders do it" This week will be full of a lot of fun!!
