I've got to meet more ward members and our friends! They're all so sweet. One of the ward members we met is brothers with my last wards elders quorum president, the one and only ho wuihjeungwhat a legend.
We have a new friend! His name is Christian, the elders passed him to us! He's this 14 year old boy who just wants to know more about God and Jesus. He's super nice and accepted our invitation to read one of the chapters in the Book of Mormon where the resurrected Christ is speaking to the people in ancient America! Sooooo fun.
This week I've been studying like a MAD woman about the Godhead and how Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Ghost are three separate distinct beings, but one God, because they are one in purpose. I've just been wanting to understand their roles more, and what makes them the same/what makes them distinct. I was reading in John 17 when Jesus gives the intercessory prayer, and he prays for his disciples that they can be one, even as Jesus and Heavenly Father are one, with the same righteous purpose. It's beautiful how Christ invites everyone to be one with Him, The Father, and The Holy Ghost. He invites everyone to participate in their glorious work of helping everyone live with our Father in Heaven again. Also PS "Jesus the Christ" by Elder Talmage is bOMb I recommend it to everyone.
