This week was craaaaazy busy, but that made it fun!
We went to the temple on Tuesday, did the traditional Chinese new year deep cleaning of the apartment and made a Chinese new year video on Thursday, did a companionship exchange on Friday, a service project on Sunday, and went to Tuen Mun for a Chinese New Year dinner with some members and other missionaries on Sunday! We also had a loooooot of lessons, some more fun than others. one of our friends was pretty upset that we taught her about the Sabbath Day and kept saying that we didn't understand her situation/why would we ask that of her? It's like, we didn't ask... don't hate the messenger. also don't hate the master either. I've had to learn a lot of patience with friends, especially in this area. There are a lot of people that have problems, that are legit and hard, but also like those problems have solutions. And they aren't willing to solve their problems. BUT this week was fun teaching Justin!! He's our little 10 yr old friend, we taught him about God's law of health, the Word of Wisdom, and during our lesson some little kids came up and were very interested in the pictures we'd drawn for the lesson (we taught him outside) They ended up having fun with our whiteboard and UNO deck too. It was cute. I also used a Minecraft analogy to teach about Enduring to the End to Justin later in the week.
We just had a zone p day hike and we're getting ready for our week now! For me, it's my last one as a missionary. gotta live it up before my times up.
